The GFW Very Slow Session is now fortnightly at Cafe Siempre in Dumbarton Rd.
Siempre Bicycle Cafe
I lead this session, mainly for people who find the speed of most pub sessions a bit alarming. The same 50 or so tunes are played every time, mostly at half speed. All the music, chords sound files and fingering can be found here
Very Slow Session
It’s a nice friendly safe space for those who need some thinking time when playing session tunes! Have a coffee or a beer while you play!
Completed my mini-tour of Fife with a workshop for the wonderful folks of the Fife Ukulele Orchestra. We had a great day working on strumming, textures and dynamics and the glittering Firth of Forth outside added to the delight of the whole experience. Thanks for all the smiles!
“Great day with the wonderful folk from Cupar Ukuleles, working on how to inject texture and dynamics into arrangements for ukulele. Thanks to Ed and everyone for a warm welcome!
Another magical time in beautiful Cromarty with super support from all the Trust's brilliant staff!
